Feedback on Galaxy Book5 Pro – Missed Opportunity with 5G

Dear Samsung Team,

I'm a fan of your products and have been following the Galaxy Book line closely. I wanted to share my disappointment that the Galaxy Book5 Pro did not include 5G support this year.

I believe the issue isn't that people aren't interested in 5G on laptops — it's that many are simply unaware that Samsung even offers laptops with such capabilities. This is especially true in the UK, where Samsung laptops are less well known.

For office workers and professionals like me who travel regularly on trains and use public transport, built-in 5G is a major productivity tool. It eliminates the need for hotspots or tethering and makes remote work smoother.

I hope future models bring this feature back and that Samsung puts more effort into promoting these excellent devices more widely. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi and welcome, I'm not Samsung staff but a fan and not as posh 😊 as you with the Book5 Pro, but I do own a Book2 Pro 5G I5 and also a Book2 Pro i7.

I wasted neallrly £300 on an EE data SIM contract gor 2 years, probably actually used the 5G element less than 6 times, as initially I would use a Hot-spot, but now we have more integrated connectivity sharing when all devices are on the same Samsung account.

Even my car WIFI is pointless as I created a routine whereby when my ZFOLD6 hot-spot auto activates.

The only purpose I can see for me a 5G laptop being relevant is if my mobile SIM was basic with limited tethering or to avoid using say none home WIFI which maybe exposed, but again it brings me back to just use my mobile hot-spot.
