Technical Issues – Galaxy Book4 Edge 16

Hello,

I am currently experiencing two recurring issues with my Galaxy Book4 Edge:

When waking the computer from sleep mode, a white line frequently appears on the screen. This doesn’t happen every time, but it occurs quite often.
The trackpad regularly stops recognizing my finger, making it impossible to move the cursor for several minutes.

I have installed all the latest updates. Do you have a solution to resolve these problems?

I would contact Samsung tech support. It looks to me that it requires repairs

Hey! I had similar issues on my Book4 Edge. What fixed the white line for me was turning off Modern Standby and switching the power mode to regular sleep in the Samsung Settings app. For the trackpad, I reinstalled the Intel Precision Touchpad driver from Samsung Update and it’s been stable since. Maybe give those a try. Hope it helps!

Thank you for your feedback. I tried to change the sleep settings, but it's impossible. Also, the Samsung Update app no longer works with the trackpad since the last Windows update. I have the ARM Qualcomm Elite X version.
