Strange issues with screen Resolution and Monitor Refresh rates on G9 49" LC49G5T

Ever since downloading and installing Nvidia driver 572.60 (Game or Studio)

My Samsung G9  LC49G5T has some strange issues.

When running 50/50 picture in picture 2560x1440 - you can only select 120Hz (as per spec)

Now on the monitor designated as "Main" in windows I can select 240Hz.  How?

Also using DSR2.25 settings you can normally run 2 x 4k screens

Now the "Main" screen says my native resolution in 50/50 Picture by Picture mode is 3840x1080?? How

Has anyone else experienced this?

I need some help please from the Clever Boyz and Gurlz please.  Thanks in advance Zeb...

Not an expert on this, but maybe in the meantime, you could rollback the driver?

Thoughts are my own.

Hey Zeb, I noticed similar weirdness after updating to 572.60 too. My G9 started reporting odd refresh rates and resolutions in PBP mode. I think the driver is messing with how Windows handles display scaling and EDID info. Rolling back to the previous driver fixed it for me. Might be worth a shot until Nvidia sorts it out.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I was hoping not to have to do that as the 570 series of drivers allow access to DLSS 4. I guess that will be the ultimate option.

Thank You...

ps I guess I should have stated (in case it makes a difference) I am running an AMD 7800x3d paired with an RTX 4070

Hi, thanks for the reply, I rolled back to 566.36 until they sorted it out.  I meant to mark the topic as resolved after @SocietyGirl replied to roll back.
Appreciate you taking the time to reply.
