Smart Monitor M5 screen sharing problem

I have just bought a new M5 smart monitor and for some reason my windows 11 PC is unable to detect it in the cast menu. It is picking up other samsung displays (TVs), I have updated the firmware in the monitor settings menu. This is really annoying as the main reason I purchased it was the smart capabilities 😒 has anyone had the same issue?

Do you have a screenshot you can share of your issue? I found a way to get it to connect by going to connection guide 8n the source menu and then selecting the device you wish to connect. A bit long winded though as I would have though simply selecting 'PC on screen' in the source options would put it into cast mode.
