I got this monitor 2 days ago and ever since turning it on for the first time it has random black screens every now and then and comes back after 1-2 seconds. It just says "HDMI 1" in the top left after it came back. This is super annoying and i dont know how i would fix this, i tried many different HDMI cables but that didnt solve this. Just while writing this post it cut out twice.

I just got one this week, great deal 1100.00 on Amazon. I noticed it did it several times over the last few days. Waiting for better hdmi cables but I'm running an experiment. I have a gaming laptop I use for 3d development and photos and a workstation laptop for 3D work for my job. It's seems not to happen on the workstation, so far. It's has a nvidia workstation card in it...doing more testing now.

I’ve just had the same issue now, and upon switching off the Auto Source Switch + option under System settings the black screen didn’t happen again.. it seems to fix it insha’Allah, will update my post if the issue returns 🙏🏻

I've had LS49CG954SNXZA for about a month. At first, this issue was not present. Now it has started appearing. I am running an Nvidia 5080 with a 16K DisplayPort cable. I also have an I9 13900K and 128GB DDR5 RAM. I guess the last thing would be that I have a newer 1500-watt power supply.
The last thing I changed before this happened was the 16K DisplayPort cable. Unfortunately, I cannot confidently say this started immediately after switching to that cable. The cable in question was bought on Amazon, and I received it on March 14th.
I do have the latest Nvidia Studio drivers. Version 572.83 March 18, 2025. All the driver settings are default.
Displayport Cable 2.1 10ft, 80Gbps UHBR20 16K@60Hz, 8K@120Hz, 4K@240Hz 165Hz 144Hz, Supports HDR DSC 1.2a, FreeSync/G-Sync 4090 3090Ti 7900XTX Graphics Card
