Hey,

I have some problems with my monitor, i've got sometime the resolution "takedown" displaying 120Hz instead of 165Hz, some icon get pixelised... And also NO SOUND GO OUT ON THE AUDIO OUTPUT i have my Logitech Speaker in, with my Xbox on HDMI that work well, but with my PC throught DisplayPort worked ONE TIME but no working anymore now...

So i firstly thinking about drivers on PC but not, after that i was thinking of Firmware so i search my monitor on the website, THAT SAY NO FIRMWARE... BUT i think there was an error so i keep searching and found and official tutorial of Samsung saying how to update the firmware by searching with the model, so i have :

  • The model : LS27AG500NUXEN
  • Version : M-A5000GGZA-1001.0

Okay with this information i start the search on the support side "Manual and software" and... OH i found the firmware : M-A5000GGZA-1007.0[340C].bin
Oh strange "[340C]" at the end? anyway i keep following the tutorial, and... *****, the monitor doesnt recognise my USB Key so i try another... Oh the monitor dont find my firmware but he recognize the USB Key ! I have also try to remove just the "[340C]" dont work too, even restart the monitor with the USB Key in the monitor doesnt work too.

So i am at the point of :

  • Theres no firmware for my monitor?
  • My monitor are defect?
  • I have the wrong file?
  • I have a monitor that shouldnt exist in the market? (i have a doubt of this one honestly ahah)
  • How can i fix ALL problems i have?

Hi @Kroosstii!

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your monitor. We would first of all test that you update the monitor to the latest firmware, which I am attaching here.

In order for the monitor to be able to detect the update file, the USB stick that you put it on needs to be formatted to FAT32 and you should not have anything else on the USB stick apart from the .bin file. Should it still not find the update file, you can try restarting the monitor while the USB stick with the update is still connected to the monitor.

I hope this helps.

/Daniel
