I've been having issues starting on Windows 10 and version 7 and up for about a year with the SSD 860 Evo.. I've even opened a ticket by calling Samsung n have had no replies or responses since 2 months ago.. I'm currently on windows 11 now, using version 6.1.0 and is working fine n NOT in compatibility mode, is the same version I had to use on Windows 10.. v6.1.0, even if I just update to version 6.2.1 I get a blank vertical window the size of a pencil n can only close it via the taskbar icon.. I've rebooted, clean install, sooo many times, tried all the separate versions and all points back to version 6.1.0 that works when installed.

Here is the link to previous version 6.1.0 I've downloaded it, scanned it, its safe n clean n installs properly and your able to engage the 'trim' n 'rapid' modes n over provisioning as well.

Fixed by disabling the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) in the BIOS! I can use now the latest version 7.2.0.930 with windows 11

After hours of trying different versions of Windows 11,  registry settings, virus scanning settings and all sorts of bios settings, disabling CSM was the only thing that actually worked.

Thanks @RUXIA

The new version 8.3.0 does not set the EFI system partition (which the UEFI needs to start Windows) on the clone in the first place and therefore the clone cannot be booted.
