Upon opening version 7.2.0 of Samsung Magician I get the following message.

I've tried hitting OK and get the same message. This is after a cold reboot.

Currently running an Evo 850 SSD in a Dell Optiplex 960.

I tried reinstalling the software and that seemed to solve the issue. Rebooted computer and didn't receive the error.

I've been having the same problem for weeks. I have a 980 PRO 2TB and a 980 1TB and it stopped working after the last update. I've tried reinstalling, reboot, and nothing worked.

@Sergio Baiao, thanks for posting and sharing your issue, I've marked my earlier post as not the solution so hopefully this can be addressed.

I have the same issue. I have two SSDs

- SSD 990 PRO 1TB
- SSD 98 PRO 2TB

I am using Windows 11 and version 7.3.0 of Samsung magician. The error comes up all the time:Screenshot 2023-08-13 101844.png
