Not sure if anyone else had had a similar issue...
I've been trying to cast both my phone (s21 ultra) and my laptop (hp spectre x360) to the Samsung m7 smart monitor with no luck.
It used to work fine when I first bought the monitor a few years back, but now when I either use smart mirror on my phone, or display detector on my laptop; the option for my monitor doesn't show up - despite being on the same WiFi network.
I've tried removing all devices from my monitor, I've tried hard restarting my monitor, I've tried updating drivers on my laptop, I've tried mobile hotspot on all devices, nothing seems to work.
The only brief solution that worked was factory resetting the monitor and I was able to see the monitor as a display option on both smart mirror and windows detection. But that seemed to stop working after a day or so. I can't just keep factory resetting just to cast, its not really feasible🤣🤣
Any suggestions?
