Samsung dp700a3d - Max upgrade - Please help

Hi Guys, 

I have a Samsung DP700A3D.

My father, passed away and left us behind, in his will. It was his favourite computer and I want to keep this.

I’m hoping that my son and me and could work on this as a project to upgrade it to the complete Max!

I wanted to know the following:

1. Which processor, specifically do I have to buy? Can you link an eBay listing as an example.
2. What is the max storage capacity can this take? Please let me know which is also the best type? I.e HD, SSD and if I need any appropriate adaptors.
3. What is the max RAM that I can upgrade this to? I understand there are two slots, so please let me know what it is for each. Also, which type I am looking for? I think is DDR3. Can you also let me know what I have to confirm with seller before I buy to ensure it compatible with this computer.
4. If there are any additional, upgrades worthy doing.

We would be using this just for surfing the internet and YouTube, video surveillance and possibly short emails. But nothing demanding such Gaming, so i am interested in upgrading the GPU, but would like to know if this can be replaced.

I can upgrade the the ram to 16gb (8gb x2)

I can upgrade internal SSD to 4TB

I just need to know the best CPU to install, that I can install and is compatible with no issues.

which is the best on for the device is? is it Core i5-3470T?

Hi @John9991  You could have a look at the comparisons list , this one comparable price (new)  but looks to be a better performer.  https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Intel-Core-i5-12400F/Rating/4121  

However if wish to use refurbished ones may well find better deal on   i5-3470T, should be suitable for your needs.

if I buy this, will this work on the computer or is possible to cause malfunctions, I won't have time to open and replace. I just want something that will work with ease and causes no issue. 

Also I noticed Samsung sell SSD that are 8TB, but I think it recommended to use 4TB. As with the above, would this be recommend? or should I just stick to 4TB

Just to add to my last message, it also says in the seller description it's recommended to upgrade the GPU.

But as I won't be using this for gaming or editing videos, is the Intel Core i5 12400F worth getting? or should I stick to i5-3470T?

The upgraded computer would also be used to review and monitor video surveillance from the cloud network, i.e Ring or Nest.
