What about OneUI8 for Samsung Galaxy Books models?
Samsung galaxy books have a OneUI book skin that runs over windows. Galaxy books currently have Book 7.0, will it get bokk 8.0?

Galaxy books run on windows- not Android. Same as all windows laptops- wont be related to the phones Ui

Same for chromebooks- they run on chrome OS- not normal Android UI

OneUI is an android OS, so no OneUI 8 will ever exist as Galaxy Books are Windows OS devices.

Thats just the software. Not the OS- believe thats updated as the phone is- wont give you UI8 features

I know it won't give phone features but will it get Book 8.0 as it got book 7.0 at the same time as OneUI7

One thing that I wonder if it will get updated is quick share? As it will be updated in OneUI8.

I ask this as OneUI8 was announced today and on the announcement, there was no mention of book 8.0. O have paid a lot of money for a Samsung laptop and it feels that they are being neglected and forgotten about.

It has nothing to do with one or the other. It's like complaining that my Samsung microwave doesn't get a firmware update when my phone updates.

A windows pc updates, when there are updates. Naturally, Samsung will update apps specifically as and when they are required, like software has always been.

This mindset of regular monthly updates is parasitic in ideas, it's basically created a sort of addiction to unnecessary busy work. Google definitely won't be helping with their new 6 monthly android releases going forward. I personally feel many dark times ahead, with major bugs or completely lackluster features between OS updates.
