I've been using this monitor for a year and 2 months for work and a little gaming. I use the DPI port and a DPI-USB Type C converter to connect it to my Macbook M4 Pro.

Yesterday, I put my laptop to sleep and went on a break for 1.5hours and when I got back the monitor wouldn't turn on. I had a surge protecer and had other things connected to it including my laptop, but all of them are working fine.

Here's what I tried so far:

  • Different adapter (borrowed a working one from my friend who has the exact same model).
  • Different power plugs.
  • I tried using HDMI and another DPI cable but nothing at all.
  • I tried to leave it for about 8 hours without power but no results.
  • I also tried to keep it powered on without any display cables connected, and the adapter was warm, same for the back of the monitor. It looks like it is using the power but doesn't display anything.

When I press the Menu button, it doesn't show anything still.

When I plug it to my laptop or PC, it doesn't detect the monitor.

The infinity core doesn't light up as well, I had this on before this issue started happening.

My warranty just expired and there are literally no places to get it fixed in my country.

Any advice is really appreciated 😞

ok power it down take the adapter out and run it till its no charge then take the hard drive out and any other peripherals that input or activate on start.if you reply il take a look into your issue just remember do not give either barcode manufacter code system id etc.also dont give date on system or bios out either stay offline and do not start it with usual routines the beep is where we need TO be.power on (POST)test take the steps in sequence.leave it pref 24 hrs min 60 hours is industry mode.be back to see ok

That sucks sounds like it might be a power board failure or internal hardware issue if even the menu won’t show and the core lights are dead. Since you already tried different cables and adapters, it’s probably not a connection issue. Maybe try opening it up if you're comfortable, but yeah... if warranty's out and no repair centers nearby, options are kinda limited 😕
