Hi,

After some research I've found that it's possible to add another SSD card to my Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6in i5 8GB 256GB. The question is how do I do this? Looking at the laptop there isn't any obvious way to open it up and I don't want to force the laptop open. Any advice on this?

I also found this thread from last year but it doesn't look like there was a solution: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/computers-it/galaxy-book2-pro-non-360-version-add-another-nvme-s...

Thanks!

I have the same laptop, recall this being discussed, it is only I7 not I5.

I did not bother adding a second SSD as i find my 1TB Microsoft One Drive is enough.

I know this is a little late but I am able to answer. The screws you need to take out are under the rubber feet. Once those are removed you can use a card or something to pry the back panel up and off. It snaps together on the sides so you have to work your way around. Inside you have one Gen 4 2280 slot that has your SSD with your OS on it and an open Gen 3 2230 slot. Depending on how much space you need your best bet might just be to get a bigger 2280 and move your OS onto it and use the installed one elsewhere. Or scrub it and sell it. Otherwise you can purchase 2230 SSD and put it in the other slot. However you will be limited to Gen 3 speeds there and the selection of 2230 SSDs is not that great. But if your just using it for storage you're probably fine. Hope that helps.
