Easy Setting Box Install Fail on Win 11 64 fresh

Hi all,

New here, but desperate.

I just reinstall my Win 11 and I do not have the old Easy Settings Box installer. Downloaded the new one 1.1.7 and at install it comes up with an error and won't allow me to install it.

"There was a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

All Win updates are done, Install services for windows are restarted ... I am going crazy.

Anyone has a link for an older version for 64 bit system? Apparently this has an issue with a DLL and I cannot figure out how to sort this out. I have a G9 49 inch .. pretty useless without this tool :).

I got exactly the same error msg... Asked for Samsung support and got no answer by now...

Solution is to install first Visual C++ Redistrivutable Packages vor Visual Studio Code in x86 version ->

Oh wait, it did, but you need to install the x86 version, even if you're installing the x64 version of the software. Thanks for the lead!
