Hi All,

Here a group to gather all who are interested in pursuing Samsung against the faulty screen design of the galaxy book laptops that lead to an issue of durability of the screen which is prone to physical damage even when used with reasonable care!

I believe many of you are facing a similar problem I have! That is why I came up with an idea to gather more people as possible to start a Group Court action against Samsung for screens design fault for galaxy book laptops.

Please state you interest to go through with it and let our reasons to be heard!

Regards,

Laura

Yes we all need to complain! I suggest we all copy an email which instructs them to escalate the matter into carrying out tests on the laptops, proper tests and to provide us with detailed outcomes. They've said they'll test my laptop but I highly doubt they'll admit fault. And how can they determine from one laptop it's a manufacturing/design issue!

Fully agree too! I shall be emailing you. My next step is now to raise higher with Currys as I have spoken to citizens advice. I'll post the transcript of their advice. Very insightful! So for Currys to pass me off to Samsung was wrong! Urgh all this back and forth is making me stressed!

Interesting response there.  Thanks for sharing.

Is there an email address at Samsung that we can send the same message to with links to this and the other threads that people have mentioned?  The same message being sent from different people might have an affect? 😊

Dear Sir/Madam,

I urge you to carry out suitable, in-depth tests on your Galaxy book 4 Laptops. Given that myself and many others are experiencing the same issue with the screens. I believe it to be either a design or manufacturing fault. This should be looked into immediately. Below I have included *links to forums and a newspaper article for your consideration.

I look forward to receiving your reply within the next fourteen days,

Yours faithfully,

Hi Bees,

Great idea I would just put galaxy book laptop as everyone is having same problems including the earlier version 2 and 3

I went to the Currys branch where I bought my laptop again directed from the ombudsman and asked if the guardian article will change their decision on my case

I am currently waiting for a reply

I never contact Samsung directly not sure if Currys has done that but I follow what the citizen advice bureau told me so far in my case Currys is the liable one

I can anyway try to tail you up with the email as it looks good 👍🏻

Thank you

Laura

Hi Laura,

Yes that's a very good point! And disgusting how they've let this go on for generations clearly! They need to pull them all and need to face the fact, a tablet laptop does not work.

I did go to a different Currys but in the same like city so surely should be okay? But they basically said no when I picked it up before but I'm very tempted to head back there tomorrow and say I've officially spoken to citizens advice I've word of other people taking situations further and this is how it stands. See what they say 🤷🏼‍♀️

The screen on my Samsung laptop has a crack from left hand bottom corner to the top right hand corner in an arc. I only noticed this after a few weeks Laptop was bought in Currys August. In doubt this is either a design or manufacturing issue and Samsung must know what the problem is in my opinion. Yes court action I am in.
