Hi all,
I recently purchased Samsung Odyssey G7 Monitor - LS28BG700EWXXL .
Can someone help me understand how to get the monitor to operate at 144Hz refresh rate?
I have a PS5 connected but I am not able to get the monitor to run at 120 HZ over HDMI 2.1. On the PS5 settings I do see that the maximum available frequency it can run on is 120 Hz so there is no issue with the HDMI 2.1 Cable.
On the gamebar I see that the FPS stay fixed at 60 fps.
Firmware Version installed - 1651.
Can someone really help out here?
Thanks & Regards,

@srinivasr479: 120hz is only available on titles that support it. If you check the in-game settings, a 120hz mode will be visible on supported titles. In the PS5 menu, head to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > 120Hz Output > Automatic, and this will automatically enable 120Hz on supported titles.
144Hz, as far as I am aware, is not available on the PS5, and would only be possible on a compatible PC.

Hi Andrew and TechZilla
Thank you for your response! Indeed 120Hz is supported on particular titles alone!
Found it by using the Balanced / HFR Graphic Settings in Hogwarts Legacy.
Thanks & Regards,
