I made a mistake by trying to update the firmware of my C43J890DK Curved monitor. It had version m-J8943CGAA-1004.1 on it and I downloaded and applied version m-J8943CGAA-1006.2. Unfortunately I no longer have an image after this. The monitor turns on, but no menu or image is visible. Trying to install the firmware again by operating the button "blindly" results in the USB stick turning on, but the installation does not seem to start. Not even after renaming version 1006.2 to 0000.0. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I did that of course and the support employee did not go further than asking whether the cables were in the right place. I could submit a repair request, but I don't want that.

It would be crazy to have to have the monitor repaired if it was the result of a well-described action with firmware supplied by Samsung. I was hoping someone had a solution like use a key combination to reset, or try this firmware. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem, I saw after some searching on the internet.
