GalaxyBook pro 360 Linux Issues!!!!

I need to use this computer with linux because I am a developer.

But I faced 3 rather annoying problems with Linux drivers:

- Internal speakers do not work
- Keyboard key lights not working
- Fingerprint does not work for faster login

When will Samsung provide drivers for professional customers as the DELL does?

Thank you    (*** be careful before buying if you are going to use with linux)

After wasting several days with @SamsungSupport they admitted to only supporting Windows [gag] but... I tried this and IT WORKED! https://forum.manjaro.org/t/howto-set-up-the-audio-card-in-samsung-galaxy-book/37090

Same here with Samsung Book3 Pro 360 16".
No internal speaker (headphones and Bluetooth are OK).
No keyboard backlit.
NO CAMERA.
Brightness adjustment works ok.
Didn't try HDMI.

I also bought this computer for development.

I can't believe that the Camera and the internal sound does not work.

DON'T BUY IT IF CAMERA AND SOUND ARE NEEDED AND PLAN TO USE LINUX.

Loaded Debian 12 using the new installer. Works great! BTW, Ubuntu 23.04 broke the “manjaro solution” for me.

Did all of the issues work in Debian 12? Or just the sound?

Sound ok. HDMI ok. No screen brightness adjustments, no fingerprint reader. Keyboard backlight is terrible, but works (or doesn't) the same in Windows. I set up for dual boot and spend 90% of my time on the linux side.

Thank you - looks like I'll be switching to Debian soon then.
