Tried downloading action director from the clickable link provided on the samsung website.  Clicked Mac version.   Because I have a mac. 

 

Once installed. This is not action director it's the simple gear360 video player. Tried over and over again and this is the only program I get.  So where is this wonderful free editing software?

No software for Mac by Samsung.  Solved it with the free Insta360 editing software   

Import your 360 videos into Samsung gear360 software to auto stitch.  Then once it is stitched bring it over to insta360 to do complete edits for free.
