TV LIP SYNC ISSUE

Hey guys, I've a Samsung 50" Crystal UHD 4K smart TV, model No. UE50TU7400KXXU (2020) connected to SkyQ 2TB (not Q Symphony) . All working perfectly. That is until I bought a Samsung soundbar, model No. HW-Q60T with Dolby 5.1, DTS Virtual-X, Adaptive etc.....

I've spent hours of messing around with the audio sync settings on all 3 devices, and cannot get it right, it's "almost" there but not quite right. 

Ive set it up as follows - : SkyQ to TV HDMI, soundbar to TV HDMI eARC. 

If I connect through the soundbar & set the SkyQ box to "normal" as opposed to Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus, the sync is perfect but a noticeable difference in picture quality, especially dark scenes even when its broadcasting in UHD 4K & Dolby 5.1 

All software is up to date & I'm using HDMI 2.1 cables. Any advice or help with this issue would be great!

Check that the Sky Q audio hdmi setting is set to normal, I found if it was set to dolby digital, lip sync was always out. hope this helps.

Thank you mate, I did that but then had no audio effects from soundbar. But you're right the lip sync was spot on when set to normal.....

SORTED! after all this messing about for 2 days it was a dodgy bloody HDMI lead!! 🙄 😁
