Why does my sound bar sometimes not connect when I switch on my TV?

Same issues of drop outs on Sonus. It's a Samsung issue but once again we just get left in the lurch.

My Samsung Q90 worked fine for about 1 year then it started dropping out overnight requiring reconnect next day. Now it's dropping out throughout the day. This is not a WiFi issue it's to do with Samsung but they don't do anything. I have found their tech support inadequate so have not bothered over this. I have no issue with WiFi on any other device. This is my last Samsung, I will never buy another.

YUP! Years later still no solution. I broke down and wired mine. Couldn’t handle the frustration any longer. Better believe my next one will not be a Samsung.

I will let my supplier have a look as they are more technical than Samsung TS. (Richer Sounds)

So just thought I'd put in my situation, bought brand new TV and sound bar from samsung, TVs great. Soundbar has Bluetooth but when watch films it makes the video and sound stutter. Decided to use optical instead and it works perfectly. Maybe give that a try if your have issues with bluetooth or arc. Also instead of Bluetoothing your phone to soundbar, just use Spotify app on your TV

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I was using optical all the time. I have now had Richer Sounds respond to the issue and all is now well. Looks like it was hung or static creating the issue. Comes up on optical every time now including when you move to other Apps.

Kinda makes the “wireless” sound bar pointless?? Pay crazy money for features that don’t work? If I wanted to run wires could have bought one for less money.
I don’t use Spotify.

Thread is a little old but I have to comment anyway.
I've got Z Fold 2, Galaxy 10+, S9, Soundbar MS650 and whatnot, next mobile or speaker, gadget won't be a Samsung device. I can't even connect though Multiroom app sometimes, the different apps needed are really spread around, need an app almost for every device and connections to them are under all critique. I have retired my Samsung soundbar and exchanged it with half price Logitech Z906 and that works fantastic with a BT audio receiver/TX. Now I can even use a headset when watching TV.
My TV is a Samsung 75" and can't even connect to it using my Z Fold mobile. I'm so tired of Samsung crappy connection solutions.
Never Samsung again because over the years they haven't improved anything and I have still been a faithful customer, that says a lot about myself, stupid is what I have been.
There's not point to try and use Samsung support, tried but they have failed to fix my problems with my Samsung phones and Soundbar. I'm switching brand next time I buy a device of any sort. FYI, DON'T buy the Z Fold mobile, after 8 month's it don't fold out the whole way, something is keeping it from open completely. I keep my devices in pristine condition, never dropped it or done anything to it with force. If I open/unfold it before login in it still thinks it's in unfolded mode. I have updated the mobile to latest updates. When I called support about this, their solution was to Factory reset it. GAH, I have half of my life on the mobile, I simply can't risc to lose anything.

May I ask what their fix was? I'm connected using ARC and e verytime it disconnects I have to reset it. With the TV and sound bar on. I unplug the SB then the TV. Wait 1+ minutes. Plug in SB then TV, so the TV recognizes the SB, and it works fine. Until the next time!

David mine was simply hung through static or otherwise, once disconnected and reconnected (optical and power) it worked perfectly. Touch wood no issue since.
