Hello Dear Samsung users,
I recently became the proud owner of a Samsung HW-Q90R Soundbar.
But from time to time (sometimes after watching a film for 2 hours, sometimes after 10 minutes) the complete sound is missing, this from all speakers.
First I found the solution (also found on this site) to unplug the cables and put everything without power and then reconnect, this worked, but is of course cumbersome and this cannot be the only solution.
Now I managed to solve the problem to switch from HDMI in 1 to HDMI in 2 with the remote control and then back. But I would have liked to have solved the problem completely because a soundbar of this class should not suddenly be without a connection without a reason.
Who has the same problem and possibly a solution?
This is my setup:
My blu-ray player (Oppo 203) is connected to the soundbar via HDMI cable (new cable 2.1 - 48gbps) for single sound (audio only output from the Oppo,
bitstream for audio output audio) on HDMI in 1,
the image goes through the main HDMI out to the TV (Sony KD-55A1).
I have already received the latest firmware update (1012.6).
The TV is also connected to the soundbar via HDMI in ARC as well as via optical cable to the D.in. (I don't know yet if the problem is also present here)
Thanks for the comments
Best regards
