Bought a Samsung S95D TV and S800D Soundbar yesterday.

Can’t get Q-symphony to work.

I have connected directly through eArc and have sound in the soundbar, but when I try to activate q-symphony I get a ‘no speaker detected message’.

can anyone help please?

I have the same problem. For sure this is my last samsung. I'am sending  soundbar back to the shop. Tv and sound bar are rubish.

Hey there, I had a similar problem today. My Samsung S60D just wouldn’t connect. I tried everything - removing, resetting, disconnecting the TV and soundbar, and even resetting them multiple times. But guess what? It finally connected! I hope this helps you out. Good luck!

I've had similar issues with my new Q990D soundbar & QE65S90D TV, with the soundbar dropping and it being very difficult to get working again, however I did find a solution to my set-up. The problem was caused by my Humax PVR being connected to the TV via
HDMI, some sort of CEC conflict. I ended up fitting an HDMI adapter that has pin 13 / CEC disabled to the Humax cable.
No problems since. I used the Lindy 41232 which is widely available.

Might help others if one of the connected devices is the culprit.
