Hi. I had this soundbar working perfectly via SoundConnect with our precious tv. I don't remember the exact model but it was a 43" curved screen one we bought in 2014. Our toddler smashed the screen on it yesterday so we bought a UHD 7 Series model. I'm trying to pair the soundbar via BT and I'm having a very specific problem. When I choose the BT source on the soundbar it says "BT READY". The manual then says to hold the source button for 5 seconds until it changes to "BT PAIRING". But when I hold the button it mutes (MUTE appears on the screen) the soundbar instead of changing to "BT PAIRING". I updated the firmware to the most recent one available (2019) and it's still the same. Has anyone any idea about how I can get around this?

Hey Andrew. Thanks for the response. The TV SoundConnect function has been discontinued unfortunately. I never had a problem with it and had anticipated being able to use it again. But BT or cabling are now the only options.
