My setup:
Tv: Samsung 65" Class - Q7D
Soundbar: Samsung HW-Q7CR
DVD player: UBD-M8500
The tv is connected to the soundbar via hdmi and then the DVD player is connected to the soundbar via hdmi following instructions in all manuals. The problem is I can't see any dvd output on the tv. It is a black screen and is no dvd audio coming through the soundbar. When the DVD player is connected directly to the tv via hdmi then the tv and DVD player work fine (leaving the soundbar unhooked). The hdmi cables are 4K and brand new. What am I missing or doing wrong?
