Q90R TV and Q80R Soundbar:
I have a cable box connected with HDMI directly to the soundbar (to avoid lip-sync problem), and a Roku Ultra connected with HDMI to the TV. The TV and Soundbar are connected with HDMI-ARC, and CEC is enabled.
The TV remote power button does NOT turn on the soundbar (but it doesn turn it off). Is that normal CEC behavior or is there something wrong?
When I turn on the soundbar manually, it starts with HDMI 2 (where the cable box is connected, even if the cable box is off). Is that why the soundbar doesn't automatically turn on with the tv?
When I switch to an internal app or the connected Roku, the soundbar automatically switches to the ARC input prefectly...but after turning off the tv (soundbar turns off automatically), so the previous selected source was an internal app (Netflix)...when powering on the tv, the soundbar remains off.
I have tried so many different options, and I think that the only way to have the CEC power on and off working properly, I can't have any source connected to the soundbar...everything must be connected directly to the tv, and only the ARC connection on the soundbar can be used.
Is this a common thing with CEC and ARC (auto power off and input switching work, but auto power on doesn't)?

Hi @bcab17 ,
I would suggest having a look at this guide from our colleagues in the US to confirm that all the right steps are being followed.
Let us know how that goes.
