I rented a redbox, plugged in n my Xbox, and wanted to watch it. And I get a message about insuring HDCP is turned on. I bought this Samsung TV 55" Curve and i can't even watch a rental? Please tell me Samsung isn't expecting me to go out and buy an adapter so I can watch a rental that cost me 2 bucks.!

What is the model number of your TV?
HDCP is copyright protection enforced by the video industry, pretty much every component has to support this DRM Method in order to use DRM Restricted material.
Honestly, I just wish it wasn't used but its a fact of life. I would contact the movie rental company to get a refund.
