Hello everyone, i live in Austria but my german is not good enough for this complicated posts. I bought my galaxy s10e today from A1 with a contract and as soon as i started it i was barely able to hold it in my hands. Then i downloaded an app which measures battery temperature and after downliading the latest update it showed 40c temperature. Currently it is being charged and the temperature is 41c.
Did i get a defect? Is this normal? I cant hold phone in my hands and it has been less than 10h since i got it.

While the first boot up and installing of the apps it should be normal if the phone temparature shows up over the regular using scenario, the phone could warm up while using or when something's runnin in the background but it would NOT be normal if it heats up to higher degrees without using it and no app is opened.

It becomes very uncomfortable to hold it after 5 min of instagram and whatsapp. I got it first day and i am scared to download any games. I had s2 and s4 and then an iphone and i would have problems like that only after half an hour of playing games. While its charging temperature was over 40 degrees and my battery is 30% down after an hour of using it. I actually spent 15 min on a youtube video of s10 series battery test and i was impressed. It feels like i bought completely different phone and i was reading months about phones and watching reviews. I went with samsung because i figured it would be more reliable than other android phones

You could bring it back to the seller and change it with another S10e if you want beacuse that seems not normal.

Well they dont want to unless phone stops working. In samsung care they told me that battery is jumping from 1.2a to 1.4a whatever that means but they can just fix it. And i dont want my 24h old phone to be fixed. I really dont know what to do, my batter dropped to 50%
