However, I suggest you run this test:
Dial *#0283# on the keypad and select "Start : RCV_DualMic" (for the top microphone) or ("SPK_2ndMic" to test the other speakerphone microphone).
When this mode is activated, you'll need to bring the phone to your ear and speak: at that point the upper speaker will emit what is "picked up" by the lower microphone.
