General ideas to upgrade the phone and make-it a bit more smart...  I don't find the good related section or label.  This is new options/feature for all phone, tablet, ect.

+++Do not disturbe option that we not used frequently.  Have the possibility to time-it.  i.e
do not disturbe for the next xx hours.  So we will not forget to désactivate-it!

+Alarm : Have the possibility to be warn every xx hours/days.  Ex :  Water my plant every 3 days at 12h00.  Impossible right now with the weekly patern.  And I do not want to have to reset each time the alarm like right now..

More to come, stay tune!!

@Facc: Please be advised that it is currently possible to schedule Do not disturb by heading to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb > Add schedule > Select the relevant days by tapping them so circle appears around the corresponding day > Set time (Start and End) > Done > Name the schedule > Save. Multiple schedules can be created in this manner, and toggled on an off via the switch to the right of the schedule.

Rather than using an Alarm, I recommend using the Reminder app for periodic reminders such as the one described in your post. Using your example, open the Reminder app > Tap the '+' symbol in the bottom right corner > Title e.g. Water my plant > Time (set your preferred time) > Don't repeat > Tap the number on the 'Every day' option > Select '3' > Duration > Set how long you want the reminders to run for > Save.

I hope this helps.

I second the recommendation to use the Reminder app. I have several set up and once I mark it as complete it sets the next reminder. It helps me too because if I'm a day or two late on doing something it will do the next reminder from the day I mark as complete.
