Free Forever AI Features

It has now been clarified a bit more about what features will remain free on Samsung devices.

As we know a subscription service will start later this year.

So it's great that some features I like will remain outside of any subscription of the Galaxy AI.

Of course Samsung cannot make the Google side of things free as that's upto Google to sort out.

But at least that calms some of the speculation.

Thats good news. Most of my favourite editing features will continue.

How note taking and note assist will be useful without an s-pen, might be the bigger issue.

The S25u should remain feature packed 👍

I'll believe it when Samsung officially confirms it, for now on samsung.com and for the Z fold 7 it says that Galaxy AI is free until the end of 2025.

If Samsung starts charging someone and not the others, then it could really end up in court.

Because Samsung sold S24 series,  S25 series, Z fold 6 as "Galaxy AI is here" phones. And continued with Z fold 7

Thanks, That's nice to see notes writing assist, Audio eraser and the camera zoom nightography will remain free. Helps keep value in our existing products.

Hope basic Gemini stays free. I use it multiple times a day now (unlike any other assistant) just voice checking questions while get on.

Nothing is free, but they did say any non 3rd party is ok, but I reckon Samsung make a killing on selling the anonymized data.

great to hear! I pay for Google's sub for 5T premium which includes their AI so not an issue for me. also pay YT Premium too includes YT Music
