Samsung S20 View Cover

Hallo,

Is het mogelijk dat de klok en alle meldingen aanblijven staan als de cover gesloten is? Dit is alleen de eerste 10 seconden zo maar daarna verdwijnt het helaas.

Dat is een mooie combinatie! Het is helaas niet mogelijk om de melding en de klok weer te blijven geven in het venster van de cover. Wel kan je bepaalde snelle ontgrendelingsmogelijkheden topassen, je kan bijvoorbeeld instellen dat bij het openen van de cover de telefoon direct wordt ontgrendeld.

I am just here to complain about the same issue. Apparently not the only one, tones of messages, same issue on S9, S10 and S20.

This cover will remain completely useless until this gets implemented properly. Like this it turns the smartphone into a watch. We want to see the notifications.

There are two options, give people their money back, or  let a developer spend the 10m needed to fix the AOD software...

Now I pray somebody who can do something about it will read my message.

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, it doesn't say much. What is the is the issue with your cover?

The issue with the cover is that notifications disappear after 10s. That's because the AOD does not adapt further than showing the clock with this cover. It's clearly not a finished feature. When you see the promotional pictures of the cover you see the notifications. So like everybody else, I bought the cover thinking I could see my notifications without opening the cover. You should remove the notifications from the promo pictures. They are a lie. This is a disappointment. Now the question is : Is there somebody from Samsung going to do something about it? How many people need to post before something so simple can be fixed?

You can send an error report if you think this does not work correctly. Send the log files through the Samsung Members app, so our developers can investigate this further and what the possibilities are.
