Shout answer to answer

I wish you brought this back.

I've tried using Bixby but get lost and never get it to work.

Previously it was just a setting in call settings.

Best thing about it, is no one had to register a voice, so anyone could shout answer, to answer.

It went straight to speakerphone too, so you could litterally answer on the way to your phone.

As a disabled person, who misses calls cos I ain't fast enough to get to my phone in 30 seconds.

Have been using phones since 1993, and am self taught.

I offer advice for free, cos I think it'll help, if it doesn't, explain why, I might learn something new too.

Current phone Galaxy S22 Ultra
Previous phones: most S series, Note 2, Samsung Alpha, iPhone 3gs, far too many Nokia's!

Hi. I've not used Bixby either and always think I should give it a try. I did have a look to see if I could find something that might help you.

If you go to Settings, Accessibility, Interaction and Dexterity, then Voice Access. It looks like you have to turn on Voice Access with the slider. There's then another option for a Settings menu which mentions "Activate for incoming calls". Also, at the top of that Settings menu is a help section about "Voice Access Commands". Scrolling down the list of "Basics and Navigation" it suggests it recognises the phrase "Answer call". I can't say if this will do what you are expecting but I hope it helps you.

Hi red

I've tried that previously and it doesn't work ... Not for me, or the Mrs.

I got her to call me to test it, and of the 6 attempts, nothing!

Thanks tho.

Thanks.

Last phone you did this on was the S8.
