Samsung ue40mu6120k Youtube videos failing to launch

As the title suggests. All other apps on the t.v. are working fine. Wifi is between 25-30 to upto 78 MBPS. Youtube app launches fine and I can move around it as you would expect.

 

But for the overwhelming majority of the time in the past few weeks, videos can take up to 10 to 15 seconds to start, or often don't start at all and then I have to 'send feedback' to Youtube / Google. 

 

Other apps such as BBC iPlayer, BFI Player and Now TV have no issues at all. When videos do play on Youtube and other apps PQ is excellent, no buffering issues and 4k causes no problems. 

 

The launching of videos is the snag. I have done a Smart Hub reset which has done nothing to help.

Hi @carldavis

Do you still need help with this? Can you confirm what software version the TV is on? You can find the information in Menu > Support > Contact Samsung. Also, check that the YouTube app is up to date on the TV.
