I bought the new galaxy watch and whenever i try to set up samsung pay it says keep gear connected too watch when it is already connected

I have the same issue - samsung said its nothing to do with them and asked me to contact samsung pay. They will investigate and get back to me in 3days!
Not really liking the new galaxy watch as much as the frontier!

Mine is working but I had never used Samsung Pay...did you delete and reinstall Samsung pay if you already used it?

I add cards and then it removes cards and I get error on watch, 'unauthorised changes to gear.' rubbish software.. So badly implemented if it fails.. Have used Google pay for years for contact less, no probs. Fix it Samsung

Hello, yes I'm having the same issue with my watch as well. My samsung pay works on my phone but not on the watch. Can someone help?

THe only fix was a full reset... now it works fine with 2 cards

Reset the phone or the watch? I have reset the watch several times.

Hi @veronica16 , the watch..
It was a few months.nkw since I did it.. However a full factory reset and reSTART of my phone. reinstall Samsung pay as the first thing you do.
Also set Samsung Pay as your default payment app on your fone first.. I had Google Pay beforeband

I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch and I am unable to get Samsung Pay to work on it. I get an error at any terminal I try to use it as along the lines of "Payment canceled" or "Your mobile device is not supported". However I try the exact same thing at the same location with my Samsung S8+ phone and it works like a charm. These are all using NFC so it is not about the watch not supporting MST. I am at my wit's end. I really like the watch, but would love to use the Samsung Pay feature. I have already tried resetting and reinstalling the watch a couple of times all to no avail. Any other suggestions? Thanks,
