Hello,

Same here. I own a QE75Q90R, it is supposed to have eARC or at least it would be supported with a future firware update. My TV has firmware v1356. Does it has eARC already? Still have to wait for a firmware update? Is there a schedule to be released?

Regards,

No the Q90/80/70R soundbars got an updated to eArc trough firmware.

the 2019 Qleds are still awaiting that update. I posted on the Dutch forum and got an answer from a Samsung employee he talked to a product specialist.

there is an update coming that will support eArc but is delayed because of COVID-19

It's  planned to be released mid July and should upgrade my Q70 QLed at least that's what I been told

totally guessing here but I think just as the soundbars every model from Q70R and up wil have eArc enabled. Why else upgrade the Hw-Q70R and not the ideal combo TV like they advertise.

o and everyone thinking hey is this HdMi2.1 no it isn't still is hdmi2.0b, eArc can be added under the 2.0 spec just. Only thing that's not possible is 8K@60hz and 4K@120hz but 4K@60hz HDR leaves enough room on the 18Gbit bandwidth to add all that cool stuff hdmi2.1 offers most of it is already there like VRR, dynamic hdr but the only thing missing is the eArc and when it drops there are things like active lipsync and the best lossless audio that means trueHD audio.
