Why does my galaxy watch 4 not log my run?

Trying to train for a marathon and my watch just doesn't work. The run just randomly ends the activity and doesn't log anything. I just updated to the latest firmware and it broke the ***** tracker. Any advice? Workaround besides just using runkeeper on my phone?.

Did you have phone with you when on run? Are you using LTE or BT version?

I have had the same issue this morning with trying to log a walk, ended the walk itself 3 times. However, it logged a weight machine workout fine this morning at the gym 🤔

There are other posts about this problem, clearly quite a few people are experiencing it!

There are auto training options in settings, you can tick or untick the exercises you want the watch to auto detect

It's not an auto solution. I've tried that.
