I bought the Galaxy Watch 7 and tried to link my WhatsApp account (via WiFi) by entering the code. The Watch successfully linked to the account and started to load/ synchronize the message, but about a minute, it prompted error message "This may be due to this device being logged out from your phone, changing your phone number, or another reason", then it logged out my linked Watch.
I ensure the WhatsApp version is up-to-date, the Wear OS as well. Also tried to reinstall WhatsApp on my Watch and tried the linkage for many times but still the same.
In addition, I tested to link WhatsApp with Google Chrome, linkage completed very smoothly.
Anyone ever experience this issue or have suggestion for it? Thanks!

WHY DOESN'T WHATSAPP PAY ATTENTION TO CUSTOMERS? I HAVE 2 YEARS PAYMENTS LEFT ON MY SAMSUNG ZFOLD4. NOW I UPGRADED TO THE Z FOLD 6 & ALSO HAD TO FINANCE THE HORRENDOUSLY EXPENSIVE PHONE!!! SO I HAVE NOW NOT ONE, BUT "TWO" PHONE PAYMENTS!! I have also bought a TAB S8 ULTRA, SAMSUNG SMART MONITOR!! I spent all this money to use an app that is unreliable and won't work for me while I need it at work???!!! PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE WHATSAPP MANAGEMENT TECH SUPPORT AND MAKE YOUR APP FLAWLESSLY FUNCTION OR AT LEAST BASIC CONNECTION ISSUES. Thank you in advance. Sorry for caps, it's easier for me to read.

Hi,
I recently got my watch 7 and Im facing the same problem. Have you resolved yours? Hopefully you will reply. Thanks.

No, it is not fixed til now. The situation/ error is same with the beginning. Kind of giving up.
However, I found that even the synchronization is not done, the Watch is still able to pop-up and display the notification/ message, as well as reply it. But the constraint is I can only do the reply to the person who sent me message passively, which means I cannot message someone proactively.
Hopefully it will have the solution someday.

Same problem, no solution. Hope Samsung steps in and pushes WhatsApp to fix their app. Unfortunately WhatsApp is essential where I live .

Same issue here, watch 6 paired with fold 5.
Worked fine for first 6 months when i bought new, but has been problematic for the past 7-8 months.
i ended up resetting/re-pairing my watch and phone, and completely uninstalling and reinstalling whatsapp on my phone, but whatsapp just doesnt want to pair.
error always : "This may be due to this device being logged out from your phone, changing your phone number, or another reason"

you need to turn off wifi (on both phone and watch) to install whatsapp. use mobile data and bluetooth. and install wearable app and give all permissions and notifications.
