I updated my Galaxy Watch4 to One UI 5 a while ago. I hoped for new features, and while that did happen, my watch also became much laggier and slower. There are also some design changes (e.g. notification format) which I honestly dislike. Does anyone know of a way to revert the system software, for example sideloading, or any way to make it less laggy?
Thank you in advance!

Try wiping the cache partition from the recovery menu.

I tried wiping cache. That did not help. I can't start sports activity normally. The touch is way too laggy. After starting activity, I can't start water mode (I use it so I accidentally do not press screen). I can't use bixby anymore. Starting bixby is laggy and it frequently does not hear me at all or hears just parts of the spoken text. Also after the update the watch randomly uses much more battery than before. Usually I had about 30-40% left at the end of day and less if some activity used. Now even without activities it may be lower than 15%.

Same issue here. I think this is purposeful to buy a new one, called planned obsolescence, that happens with cellphones too.
Two things that helped a little bit: try to uninstall the Google Assistant (click and hold, and choose to uninstall); wipe cache partition. This increase speed a little bit.
Anyone knows how to downgrade version at watch4?
