Watch Ultra - heart rate being measured automatically when the setting is off

Hi, I have noticed that my watch ultra seems to be taking heart rate measurements automatically, even though I have set it to do so manually. 

I had a look at my heart rate tile and it had a reading with a time stamp of 7:20am. I checked the tile again an hour or so later and it had another reading time stamped 8:30am.

How is this possible when I have heart rate monitoring set to manual?

This may be your stress level being measured so I would reccomend going to SETTINGS 》HEALTH》STRESS then make sure it's set to manual only
