Watch face loss after upgrading to S21

Hi all,

I have seen some similar threads on this but no answer appears to have been given. I've just updated my phone from the S20 to the S21. Had to back up and delete my data on my watch in order to transfer it, and only two of my watch faces have been transferred not four.

I have visited the store and it looks like the store owner has set up a new store, of which the two missing watch faces are not a part of. I can't download them as they are not listed on any of my accounts, but they are in my receipts section.

Is there anyway to get them on the watch or not? If not, how do I go about getting a refund or contacting the store owner? Surely I should still have access to them, even if they aren't selling them anymore?

Thanks!

Perform a backup of your old phone using Smart Switch. Do likewise with your new phone. Once completed, open EXPLORER on your pc, and scroll to the SAMSUNG folder - both backups should be in there. Click on the backup you have made of the old phone, and locate the folder that contains your watch faces (incl. the "missing" ones). COPY this folder, then open up the backup of your new phone. Again, locate the watchface folder. Once you have found it, PASTE the watchfaces from your old folder into it. When you have done this, reconnect your NEW phone, and RESTORE the backup you made moments earlier. Hopefully, you now have the "missing" watch faces on your watch Once more. You can check this via SAMSUNG WEARABLES/WATCH FACES on your new phone.

Let us know if this has worked for you. 😊

As soon as I saw your answer I tried, to no avail. Not working... Cannot find the watchface files whatsoever. 💔

Hello all, I know this is an old post,

Being myself a watchface developer for two years now, the only solution is to contact the watchface developer and for him to update the compatibility of his specific watchface to be compatible with the S21, this should have been automatically when the S21 was released, but i have seen this issue once in the past where I had to update 50% of my watchfaces for them to work on anything newer than the Samsung S20 line.

Thanks and have a great day, everyone
