I have a new Watch 6 and no matter what I try the Sleep tracking will not work consistently. In 4 weeks it has worked only twice and even then it was only partial results. (It thought I went to bed at 03:40). I've tried factory resets, checked all permissions, wearing on other wrist, plugged in at night, Samsung Health App open. I've run out of ideas and it's a real let down as it was a key reason I bought the watch.
My wife has now bought one and it works great with very detailed sleep results.
My watch was a gift and I don't know where it was purchased, so even though it was fully sealed I don't think Samsung will accept a return directly to them.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance

As a follow up to my post.
I ordered a new Galaxy 7 watch and a new Galaxy 24+ phone. The new watch does not track my sleep either!!
My wife tried the new watch and it worked perfectly. I tried her watch which had been working perfectly and NOTHING. I have come to the conclusion that the issue is ME. I sleep terribly and am due a sleep clinic appointment where they will discover that I suffer Sleep Apnoea. (My GP tells me I have severe symptoms) There is something in the way these watches recognises sleep that they can not detect when I wear them. All other functions seem to work well so I guess I'll just have to manage without the sleep tracking facility which is a shame.
