Watch 6 and WiFi problems

Wondering if anyone else having wireless connectivity issues with their watch 6?

When I connect to my home wifi it first says "connected without internet". There is then a notification on watch that says there is no Internet access. After clearing the notification the connection changes to "disabled".

I've tried rebooting watch several times but to no avail. 

I'm at a loss here.

No sorry all OK with mine, I never used the smart switch option when I get replacement devices so everything was set up from scratch, other than that my watch is working as intended. When my other devices have had similar messages normally a restart of the router helped, even though other already connected devices worked ok, good luck

No sorry I've tried turning off BT on the phone @Home, and a few seconds after the initial "disconnected from phone" message on the watch, it will connect through my WiFi network.

I can even see the wifi signal strength in the top pull-down menu

Ok thanks. I used smart switch to transfer about 350 mb from my watch 4 to wstch 6 so must have connected via wireless for that! Off on a cruise tomorrow so will look at this again in a weeks time.

I don't think the Smart Switch utility uses your hone WiFi network to transfer your old data & settings, this will go through BT or more likely through direct-WiFi. So I'm not sure your success with Smart Switch means your watch already successfully connected to your WiFi before..
