Update not copying

Hi all,

Anybody know if there is a sensible reason why my watch 5 keeps nagging me about an update but then the Wearable app refuses to copy the update to the phone. Slightly irritating.

I had a similar problem when trying to update my watch. The problem was my phone's VPN. I turned it off and everything worked fine.

I have a watch 4 with the same thing just keeps restarting the process of copying and after 5-10 mins says couldnt update try again later

Connecting my watch and mobile to a different wifi network worked for me.

But when i turn my Bluetooth off and try to update it through my watch it says connect to your phone to update.

I have a watch 7 with the same issue. Spent an hour with SAmsung tech to non avail. So, after repeated efforts to update, I turned off Blue Tooth, put the phone on the charger and tried again -immediate success. So, you might try that with your watch 5
