Unable to send/receive text messages in Google Messages

Hi,

I've just received my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic LTE today from Three UK - the Watch works great, apart from one thing.

I am unable to receive/send text/rcs messages in Google Messages on my watch when my phone is turned off. I know i have connection to the mobile network on my watch, as I'm able to make and receive calls on my watch whilst my phone is turned off.

When i try to send a message in Google messages, it just displays an error message of 'unable to send messages - tap for options'.

Can anyone please help?

...one more trial. Try to switch on "Remote connection" in Advanced features menu in WEAR application. Helped to me. Now I can send SMS from GW8 LTE even when Mobile phone is at home (but have to be on line -  switched on!)
