If your Samsung smartwatch is pattern-locked and you've forgotten the pattern, the only way to regain access is to perform a factory reset, which will erase all data on the watch. You'll need to link the watch to your Samsung account again after the reset.
Here's how to initiate the factory reset:
1. Unlink the watch from your phone: If you can, unlink the watch from your phone using the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app.
2. Initiate the reset:
Press and hold both the top and bottom buttons: on the watch until it powers off.
Quickly tap the top button repeatedly: until the recovery menu appears.
Navigate to "recovery": using the top or bottom button and select it by pressing and holding the top button.
In the Android recovery menu, navigate to "wipe data/factory reset": using the bottom button and select it by pressing and holding the top button.
Confirm the reset: by selecting "factory data reset".
3. Set up the watch:
After the reset, your watch will reboot and you'll need to set it up again.
Connect the watch to your phone via the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app.
Log in with the same Google account: that was previously linked to the watch.
Follow the prompts to restore from a backup, if desired, or set up as a new watch
