Sync issue

Hi. I have an S24 and a Watch4 which I also have Outlook on for emails and the calendar. Both were working fine until the latest MS Outlook update and now my watch isn't synching to show the latest email and calendar position.
I have contacted MS who have told me it's a Samsung issue and vice versa. 
When I use my previous phone and Smart Switch Outlook from there to my S24, everything syncs fine. But Play Store keeps asking me to update Outlook, and I am sure it is the update that's causing the issue.
I have tried removing the accounts, factory resetting my watch and everything else that I can think of.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
