Switching from Samsung to Nothing, concerned about watch

Hi there, I am later going to switch over to a Nothing Phone 3a from my Samsung Galaxy A13. I was wondering if the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE would still work on another android device, and what features would I lose when I switch. Also, can I still use the Samsung Members app on another android for diagnostics for my watch.

Hi.
I think it should work, you just need to download Samsung Health on your Nothing phone and have Bluetooth on it to pair the watch.

Thank you, I might also need Galaxy Wearable as well, but thank you for the suggestion. 👌

There may well be some limitations but the main features will work https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00082502/

Just wondering if you considered a more modern Samsung phone any particular attraction with the Nothing phone. Personally I think Norhing phones are not so strong on the software side.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I like Nothing phones as they look generally better compared to the same look for all Galaxy Phones now(look at the new A series phones for an example)and more minimalist than One UI now, especially with UX tweaks that look fairly similar to IOS. The glyph lights on the Phone 3a are so cool, they sync to your music, calls, notifications etc. Also the Phone (3a) comes with 3yrs OS and 6yrs security updates.

It's just the ECG and Blood pressure that only work with a Samsung phone. All other features will work as normal. You need Samsung health and the Samsung wearable app.
