Have people been finding they are having to switch off the galaxy watch daily to keep functions such as step counter working? Is this a good practice?

I personally power down my watch every night as I do not require it On overnight.
Powering down a device every so often is a good practice as this helps to refresh it.
However it shouldn't need to be powered down daily because a feature / app isn't working.
If this was me I would check for any software update for the watch and app(s).
If no joy then if a back up and Factory Reset does not help then I'm sure one of the Team here will pick this up and feed it back.
