Strava App Quitting Unexpectedly

Just recently, in the last month or so, the Strava app on my Galaxy Watch Active has been quitting out for no apperent reason. I'll start an "Outdoor Walk" activity just outside my house and it can take quite few seconds for a pace to appear (use to be almost instant before). I'll check the watch a few hundred metres later and the watch is on the clock face with the little Strava icon at the 6 o'clock position. Why I try using the Recent Apps option to go back into Strava, Strava re-starts. This is really frustrating as I'm losing activities.

I didn't know you could link to Samsung Health either. So I tried it after i posted, had exactly the same thing! Got about 15 mins into my ride, looked at my watch and rather than the current activity time / speed showing it was just the app screen. making me think maybe it's the watch, but other people are saying Samsung Health works fine. something is not right here, but definitely thinking of getting something else as this is pretty much the only thing I use the watch for!

I'm going to try Samsung Health linked to Strava on my next run. I'm hoping it will work without any issues, but if it plays up again I'm going to look for a new watch.
